About Tre'Good German Shepherds

We believe dogs possess a spirit that allows them to feel happiness, boredom, frustration, sadness, fear, joy–various emotions. We believe that we are responsible for the quality of our dog’s lives. Because of this belief, we raise and nurture a limited number of exceptional quality old-style German Shepherds. We do this so that we can promote a high quality of life for each of our dogs. All of our dogs are OFA certified hips and elbows and are MDR-1 and DM negative. We also use Embark dog DNA testing for eleven other German Shepherd-specific genetic conditions and an additional one hundred and ninety-seven less common genetic conditions found in German Shepherds.

We raise highly trainable, intelligent, naturally protective dogs, who are capable of profoundly bonding with their people. By keeping the needs of our dogs foremost, we produce family companions who are not emotionally or mentally stifled. Our dogs are vibrant, alive, and ready to form a solid bond with their new families.

We raise our puppies using the Tre’Good method. A method that utilizes language development, nature, and positive reinforcement to develop our pups and young, trained adults. We educate our puppies and dogs in functional family obedience. This style of education is a combination of basic obedience and other commands, which makes and living with your dog a joy at home and out in the world. We teach our dogs to listen to us but also teach them that we can hear what they are saying. Our dogs are raised knowing that we will work in partnership with them.

We asked Christine for a beta drive, housebroken trained pup with a kind, affectionate disposition. Christine and her husband John drove our pup King in an giant RV to our home in Michigan When King came out of their RV, he had a big doggie smile, wagged his tail, and gently licked our hands. We fell in love with him a first sight. Christine spent a few days teaching us to learn King’s commands and showed how to prepare his meal. Christine showed us King’s perfect off the leash manners in Home Depot, and in our shopping area. Christine hand’s on instruction gave us confidence that we would be able to manage King. We have had King for four months and he is a delight, so much so neighbors have offered to walk him and to pet sit him for free. We tell each other how lucky we are to own such a lovely dog. . Buying a dog from Christine is one of the best decisions we have made.

Dogs are an enormous part of my life so picking where to get my next pup was a big decision. I am so glad I trusted in Christine and couldn’t be happier with how things turned out.
